rolex11)      1942 Rolex Chronograph–Current value, $1.16 million.  This beautiful piece was limited to a run of only 12; one recently sold in a Christie’s auction for $1.16 million.  Featuring 17 jewels and Arabic and baton numerals in pink gold on a silver matte dial, this watch incorporates some of the best features of Rolex to create a classic timepiece.


rolex22)      1971 Eric Clapton Rolex Daytona–Current value, $505,000.  The watch once worn by Clapton himself features a silver monochrome dial, giving it the name Albino.   Versions of this watch not worn by Clapton retail for around $100,000.
