The Top High-End Men’s Watches

There’s a quite special relationship between men and watches. The tendency for many males to steer away from most other types of jewellery propels the worth of watches considerably for men. When it comes to the high-end men’s watch market, there are a number of excellent (and some extravagant) timepieces. Here is the cream of the crop.

Higher Price Tags, Higher Worth
Now although many of us men won’t like to admit it: the more expensive a timepiece, the more pride we feel wearing it. The reasons are simple. Firstly, more money generally means better physical and aesthetic quality. Secondly, the more a watch is worth, the more money the man wearing it had to spend on it, and thus the richer the man is; at least in the eyes of others.

With that said, the most expensive men’s watch on the market this winter is Cartier’s Rotonde de Cartier Astrotourbillon. The watch is made of 18-carat white gold and looks classically elegant, however its main selling point seems to be in its unique Cartier-made movements.

Look away now if you’re on a bit of a budget because the price isn’t pretty and the watch costs a whopping £94,000! But hey, money’s there to be spent… right?

Despite being the most expensive of the men’s watches of Switzerland however, it is by no means indefinitely the most fashionable.

Price Does Not Always Equal Fashion

While aesthetic quality is relative to the eye of the beholder, few could argue with the fact that Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Offshore, looks the most creative and delightful of this winter’s men’s timepieces.

In fact, speaking of winter, the timepiece’s rugged appeal and bulky image render it tailor made for the cold and gloomy season.
An innovative combination of pink gold and black rubber makes the Royal Oak Offshore incredibly unique in its image and even at £40,000 it seems to be a bit of a steal (for those with the money to splash of course).

Vacheron Constantin: Overseas Chronograph

A watch that looks fairly similar and arguably just as delightful as Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Offshore is Vacheron Constantin’s Overseas Chronograph.
A sports watch with an alligator strap and 18-carat pink gold material case, the Overseas Chronograph is also some £7000 cheaper than the Royal Oak Offshore, and so for those who are actually on a budget (if you can call it that), this may be the better choice.
